Merle and Sandi Newton each are accomplished stock dog
trainers with more than 40 years of experience training dogs
and providing instruction to beginner as well as advanced
handlers. For years, they have been widely known as advanced
level clinicians and competitors with a long list of
accolades that include hosting, judging, and winning
national, statewide and regional cow dog trials, conducting
a full curriculum of training clinics, as well as providing
a vast series of demonstrations in numerous industries to
further the expansion and advancement of the stock dog
industry. Handlers and dogs whose careers began with the
Newtons have gone on to be some of the most accomplished in
the industry.
